World of Warcraft The Shadow of the Sentinax Broken Shore Quest and Beacon Guide

You will need to defeat enemies underneath of the Sentinax to obtain a Broken Sentinax Beacon. The Sentinax is a ship that moves around the Broken Shore periodically, so check the skies above you to find its location. Once you have this quest starter, turn it in to Warmage Kath'leen back in Deliverance Point of the Broken Shore. The purpose of this quest is to introduce you to Sentinax Beacons. When underneath of the Sentinax, there will be Sentinax Portals that spawn. The enemies that come out of these portals have a small chance to drop Uncommon, Rare, or Epic quality Sentinax beacons, which will spawn additional portals, giving you another chance to get a higher quality beacon. The ultimate goal of this process is to farm Nethershards, which can be exchanged with Warmage Kath'leen and Thaumaturge Vashreen in Deliverance Point of the Broken Shore. Additionally, the epic quality beacons can be used to summon boss-level enemies that are used for the Naxt Victim Legion Exploration achievement.

There is also an achievement known as Bringing Home the Beacon, which requires you to use a Sentinax Beacon at all 9 of the locations at which the ship parks.
