Isn't this actually a positive ending?? Surtr was going to go off and destroy all other planets in the universe to begin with, so this ending ensures 1 survives.

I usually like Steve Orlando's writing. But not here. Much like CRISIS itself and the LAST DAYS OF THE JSA special, this wasn't very good. One small point: even if Earth-2 rather than Earth-1 had turned out to be the "template" for the New Earth, lots of ex-Earth-1 characters should've still existed and been remembered: the Doom Patrol, most of the New Teen Titans, the Outsiders (minus Batman), and all the non-doppelganger characters in the JLA, for that matter. After all, the JSA/All-Star Squadron _and_ Infinity Inc. were integrated into New Earth's history. So, yeah, this bugged me.

How do crisis’s work in the dark multiverse? Since crisis’s by nature are house clean ups of the multiverse. I mean, the dark multiverse Infinite Crisis is about events that didn’t happen here, so like...what? H-how this work?
