A little tribute to those who inspired me!

The late Monty Oum and Chuck Jones are two of the biggest inspirations for me. Monty with his love and passion for 3D animation, fight scenes, music, rhythm, and just general philosophies on life. Chuck Jones of course was a huge part of my childhood as he was for many others. The Looney Toons will always be one of the best examples of comedic timing in animation as well as an invaluable learning tool for animators to draw technique and style from.

The fact that you have pushed through some of the most difficult struggles is an inspiration to me. Your comedy always makes me laugh, you never run out of ideas, and you know when to laugh and to be serious. Overall you are a great person and a huge inspiration to many people.

Robin Bottin is my inspiration. He wasn't the first special effects artist but damn, the things that man can could do with Vaseline and bubble gum. Just.. mad props to that guy :D

I was practicing 'Are You Happy' - Bo Burnham on Piano and got annoyed and rage quit (I suck at piano). So decided to go on YouTube for a bit to cool down. Then the first thumbnail I see has Bo in it...

(For the record, I'd count him as an inspiration I love his work so much!)

There are countless youtubers that I watch daily that inspire me greatly, and artists. I'm not sure where to start, the list would be too long, and probably somewhat boring so I'll say just one big instance of inspiration: the artist sellingjoy on instagram reminded me that art doesn't have to be perfect lines, it can be shaky, creepy, messy, liney. That's the art I naturally make and seeing art rendered with clean lines made me feel like I couldn't make art since it doesn't loko like theirs. Thing is the looser art style is what my hand naturally was making and I was inspired from that exact moment to make art again in my own way, it was extremely freeing <3 thanks for the idea Tom!
