Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer holds a press conference in Downing Street after meeting senior policing leaders.

The Southport attack suspect has been named in court as Axel Rudakubana, 17.

Appearing at Liverpool & Knowsley youth court on Thursday morning, he was charged with three murders, ten attempted murders and of possessing a kitchen knife with a curved blade.

As a teacher of English literature here in the United States, after listening to the speech, it puts me in mind of a quote from Henry V, something like, imagining what England would be capable of greatness if “all her children were kind and natural.” This man is neither kind nor natural. Sir Keir didn’t stand up and making this kind of speech when the Leeds riot took place, police and bus destroyed, police injured but no big speech about clamping down and facial recognition, don’t want to upset the ethic communities, when is someone going to admitted that diversity doesn’t work when you allow the immigrants to dictate policy. Fed up listening to mps trying to appease, stop paying lip service to the British people and truly listen to their concerns.
