AI on YouTube has exploded in the last year, but is any of it truly, 100%, automated - meaning the creator literally does nothing? We decided to put this to the test, start a channel and have AI run the whole thing!

From this moment forward, if someone wants to learn about YouTube Editing and/or Storytelling, I am definitely linking them to this video!
vidIQ are lucky to have you! A well-deserved addition to the creator team! ❤

The question is: Why? Why was the channel shadow banned, and why doesn't the algorithm like it? Why should YouTube care about the hows of a video's production, especially when there is so much vapid, inane content already being created and uploaded on the regular and is tolerated (if not supported and promoted) by YouTube? Why does YouTube get to rely on automated algorithmic processes to do its work, but then penalize a creator for doing the same thing? Why is YouTube actively, systematically, algorithmically deciding what content is viable and acceptable at all? This kind of curation of art ignores the possibilities of new content types and aesthetics from developing independently and with originality, and historically ends up rewarding the derivative and later adopters after the formational work is done by REAL creatives (look at any regularly used technology and the gross ignorance of its developers and innovators). In this case, that could be someone that creates an truly innovative and novel implementation of AI automation towards creating something incapable of being done any other way. Certainly, AI automation could allow for meta level creation through evolving iterative development. If done towards an artistic and content-purposeful end, and with effective result, why ban or ignore it just because it's AI automated?

John. Your editing skills are both inspiring and sobering. You are now the goal and golden standard of many aspiring creators including myself (not on this channel though)(maybe). Thank you for making this engaging and informative video 🤙🏾

This is just another reason why I love editing, the way the story was told and edited was awesome!

I love the storytelling in this informative video. It’s like I’m watching a movie, but I’m still learning. What a captivating video! 🤩

With the amount of time, effort, skill and knowledge to accomplish this, its still makes more sense to create your own work. Hopefully ai will only stay a tool to assist creators. Not replace them. But the future is futile.

Are you gonna open source the code? Even if it dosnt get any views I think it would be really cool to see how you did it.

I’ve been following VidIQ for over a year now but I’m just gonna say it…John is by FAR the greatest asset to this team outside of your software product offering.

The COMPLETE content creation package from conception to execution all at VERY high skill level, I hope you’re compensating him competitively 😉

A lot of people forget AI generated content isn’t supposed to be entertaining to be purpose is it’s supposed to be informative similar to the news and those kind of things, that is the reason AI can’t take over the platform they are incapable of replicating the humour and enthusiasm and entertainment humans can provide

I am not a fan about ai generated content. It's soulless.

Great Video - with content like this it is no wonder that YouTube has replaced TV

I've used AI a lot to help with tasks at work and I get the value there. But the AI generated content is getting really annoying. If the channel isn't clearly hosted by a human or at least narrated by a human who says their name then I pretty much won't even watch anymore. However once the AI voices get harder to detect and are less annoying then I could see my own resitence lessening. My big problem is the quality at this point but once that is solved for I wonder if I'll have any issue. Thanks for reading my pontifications.
