Every saying that both the partners should contribute equally in all expenses needs to understand that when two people come together there can never be 50-50 in everything, can a man share the pain a woman goes through during child birth??? Can he share her monthly periods pain? Can he share the post partum depression a woman goes through after childbirth, even a woman does not expect 50-50 household work, they just want their partners support and help when needed, a woman just needs a person who will be with them and won't hesitate in doing household work.... It could be 40-60 or even 30-70. But do you think it is right if a woman works and then comes back from her work and goes straight into the kitchen to cook food for everyone while a man goes for a nap or to take rest, instead wouldn't it be better if both of them rest for a while and then cook together while chatting? I'm proud of my parents. They both are working and do all the chores together, mostly my father volunteers but my mother laugh and say, "Poore din kaam karke takhe nahi?, chalo saath mai karte hai". ❤

My mom and dad are both working. When they are home they do chores. Like In the morning, my mom makes tea for us. In evening, when she comes back from work my dad makes tea. Mostly I have seen my mom does cooking and dad does the cleaning.
