GTA Online Franklin Returns New DLC And Business The Contract My Thoughts And Breakdown

Me reacting to the new update coming out on GTA Online. called "The Contract" where Franklin Clinton returns.

The guy that was next to Dr. Dre was one of the writers of GTA San Andreas, he was the reason why CJ, Sweet, and other characters that were voiced by rappers were born.

Franklin's life has really changed a lot since we last met him. Let's hope we get to meet Michael next time.

At first I thought Franklin’s property was his house from the story mode but I think it might be somewhere else based on the skyscrapers in the background

It does sucks that red dead doesn't get this kind of attention content wise. Agreed 👍

Franklin has literally become CJ, as in both are music-related managers nowadays. Hope we see Michael and Trevor come back, since Ending C is canon from Tao Cheng commenting on almost dying at the country club in one of the Casino missions.

Personally I am glad that Franklin is returning. I haven't played Red Dead Online in ages, and I think that Franklin will be your main contact for the business, along with Lamar. Perhaps Imani would give you info and Franklin would give you missions. I think that Franklin's empire is going to be an investment for the player, rather than buying the business. A stake, like CJ's in the Four Dragons. Franklin sounds confident here, as he made something of himself. I am glad he brought Lamar in too, showing that he always looks out for him. And while Franklin was always ambitious, it was never really clear what he would do with his money, and I guess that's a good thing, as Rockstar were able to expand his story. While it saddens me that we won't experience his success from his own perspective, like I'd imagine happening in the scrapped DLC, I'm pleased we see what he's been up to. Although I am also curious about Michael.

It's cool to see Franklin return, other than that I won't bother with this dlc since I know I'll get bored in like 2 weeks of playing it. Looks cool tho

I’m super stoked to see something with the story mode characters and be single player since I play alone and especially Franklin who is my favorite of the 3.

I love the fact that GTAonline has been around for so long that it's time frame is now AFTER story mode. when GTAonline first went live it was set in a time frame before Story mode, and that lasted for a good while, until some of the new DLC missions made references to events in story mode. but this DLC seems to go far into the future with chop looking very old and grey.. Franklin and Lamar looking so different.

You are correct that GTA O and RDR O are not treated equally. It's because GTA O is much more profitable. This is how all things work. This is why a lot of youtubers keep doing the same type of videos that get them views even if there are fans of other stuff that they've done. You always give the most attention to the things that are most popular. It makes sense that they do it as a business. RDR will never match GTA so it will never be given the same attention.

I guess Rockstar gave up on trying keeping both games alive by alternating the updates between GTA and RDR Online and they have decided to keep alive the one that make them earn more money.
It's such a shame that they probably decided to leav it die but at the same time i think RDR O should've never came out in the first place, they should'vr made it SP only with some SP expansions sometimes.

Incredibly disappointed this isn't single player DLC. 2001-2006 was the best time for 3D GTA era and 2008-2010 was the best time for HD GTA era
