It was nice to see 3S take a game off of the #1 EU seed. Even if the #1 EU seed didn't really perform well this LAN, Losing against both the #3 and #2 NA seed, it still shows that SA's pro scene is developing. It's really great how having RLCS contenders in a region really boosts the skill level.
Lowkey also did well against Veloce but were unable to overcome the NA #1 seed.
OCE also didn't manage to reach the playoffs this season. (But an OCE team did win 4th in S6 proving they can definitely compete)


WORSE SPOILERS:
Playoffs is 3 EU teams (all but the #1 seed) and 3 NA teams (all but the #4 seed). I'm rooting for Dignitas or Vitality to take home the gold. Vitality is simply the EU dreamteam in terms of composition and Dignitas is the closest thing to a Benelux team there is (and I'm Dutch soo). but as usual I appreciate the time ALL teams put into this game. I've been playing and watching this game since before ranked got introduced and even after 8 seasons, RLCS is still hella exciting and always makes me feel like playing. As a final little point, I'm not mad at Turbo for selling out to NA (jkjk xD) because it makes the game more interesting. NA's gotta have some chance at the title right?
