Can you turn off the the heating in general from the app? Or on when you are an hour away from home put it on from the app? Can you also turn off the programme to just an off/on ‘button’

I’m looking at upgrading my system and I’ve looked at various options but as I have a WB Greenstar 36CDI it may make sense for me to have a Bosch Easy Control.
But with all these Wi-Fi smart systems, what happens if your internet or Wi-Fi router fails. Does your heating stop working?

Can I install 2 bosch easy control in 2 different rooms?

I have this control and have eventually figured out how to work it reasonably. The provided literature is very basic and you have to be tech savvy to get the device connected. My installer had little clue despite going on 'a course', so I did most of the commissioning myself. Sometimes a symbol appears which I can't find in the literature and during this time I lose control of the system.
The control lacks a 1 hour or 2 hour boost button - a feature my wife loved on our old system and which I pay dearly for the lack of on the new system since ' it was me that wanted it!'
Come on Worcester Bosch, we've paid thousands for this system and you can't give us a decent pdf file showing us how to use it in clear simple terms.

Mike how come you don’t reply to any comments.I have searched the web regarding the easy control wireless 🛜 some at bosch say the easy control has to be wired to the boiler greenstar 2000 and yet all the information that is available only says to wire the back plate for the easy control to the plug provided if wiring it to the boiler how dose the table mount work ? When that is just on the pre wired plug .

I'm finding these "training" videos a bit rubbish. They tell me what I can do, but not how to do it, then "for more info, visit our website", but not even a link to the relevant places, which I then have no success in finding.
I found my previous smart thermostat and app (hive, from british gas) so intuitive that I never needed to go looking for help, but with this one I find that's not the case and now that I need it I'm finding it impossible to find the help I need

I agree with the comments of AJWGBFX. The installation is not easy IMO and my installer had no clue at all. Once I figured out how to install / use it, I get a yellow spanner which shows up and it's almost impossible to work out what it means. Also, you can't get a battery version of the controller, which means you need to plug it in to the wall. !!

Can you have one of these units removed and replaced with a basic digital thermo? All I need is an on/off switch!

For more information look at Tardo, the Bosch system needs full overhaul not at all smart, I made the mistake of fitting thinking same controls as boiler would be good move. Now regretting that thought!

Are there any plans from bosch to add underfloor heating controller to this system? I think about something like Danfoss link HC.

I HATE my Worcester Bosch. The fact that nobody will even acknowledge this comment proves how complacent and unhelpful this company is!! 😢
