The ending was actually quite fitting and beautiful! The finality of the ending rivals the any of their previous deaths in the show. He slipped up while fighting vamps, being impaled in the back by a sharp hook. A cause of death that has been seen before when Sam killed a monster in one of the earlier seasons. It's a fairly natural and realistic death in the ending. It's beautiful because Dean was able to get have an emotional moment with Sam where he can effectively pass on the torch and tell Sam it's okay. Dean was gonna go out either way but I feel like the ending was perfect. You could get the sense of finality loud and clear

I like that they have an interpreter on stage vs over an ear piece, because there are often things that get lost in translation and she is able to ready body language.. And I like how she lets them both finish answering before she starts translating.

Didn't Sam & Dean spend 15 seasons telling kids NOT to become hunters? I think S&D would be upset if they learned those two kids got into hunting. Like, that would be the opposite of what it meant for the guys to save the S&D-replicas-who I'm just

I think the ending was dumb only because he should've had a more... Heroic death. Not a random vampire. But I do think it only made sense for one of them to die and dean would've never moved on to live happily ever after like Sam did. It made sense but they showed it horribly.

Plus remember Jenny the vampire basically said that she was not the one who was doing all this kidnapping kids... It was never confirmed who was doing this stuff since the 80s because remember according to John's book since the 80s or 90s there were vampires kidnapping kids in that location ..

Killing Dean was dumb, we saw Dean and Sam die or almost die like 75 times. It would've been better if Sam retired from hunting and still got his normal life. Dean keeps on being Dean, he hunts and visits Sam several times a year. That would've also been a better way to keep it open for a limited series or movie down the road. They keep saying they will do more and I just wonder how that will work. Will they bring Dean, Cas, Crowley and Bobby all back?
