A Calif. Zephyr #5 in Ft. Morgan on 14JULY2024.

Yes. I caught both trains and I am posting in order of appearance.
This California Zephyr #5 arrived in Fort Morgan at 0549 MDT (3 min. off). Powering the 8-car train wereP42s #76 & #157. The train sopped with the consist across Main Street. There was no passenger activity for #5 and the highball was given. With a clear signal at west Ft. Morgan CP, the Zephyr rolled west toward Union Station in Denver.

Afternoon, Mike. After yesterday's crowd, today's quick stop was kind of a bummer. Nothing happening! She came in with a beautiful morning sky behind her, and left with a "normal" one ahead of her and her usual ALCO act. It was nice to hear one of the now depleted chorus in great form. I'll check back in for #6.

Yeah good morning Mike I've been out west and you do have to drink a lot of water. I've been to Colorado western Nebraska the Black hills Western Kansas and every time I go there they always remind you to drink lots of water. Cuz it is dry out there. And you know like he said if you're sweating through your shirt you're in deep doo-doo.
