oh whoa. the "he likes my sister" at the wedding just pushed me beyond snark because I think it just fully clicked how much trauma these people are constantly keeping below the surface wtf. Before, I thought it was interesting that I don't know anything about their subculture, but can still tell they're constantly passively insulting each other and the receiver looks bothered, but just laughs. It was getting increasingly disturbing to see as I watched more of these videos, I think from realizing it's continuous over years and truly the norm, but this video just pushed it over the edge for me. I hope they all get real therapy one day

Edit: apparently she said “he’s not attracted[to me].” If that is what she actually said…why are they getting married? And why would you marry someone who prefers your sister? Sure, it could be a more casual thing where he noticed the sister first and then was introduced to Bethany and really liked her anyway, but…don’t share that in your vows!

when they graduated high school, did their brains just not get the memo or something? this is an astounding display of a lack of emotional intelligence. although, to give them credit on one thing they must be great actors because there is no way everyone there isn't just absolutely miserable. i hope future generations can break the cycle and become functioning members of society because i think its safe to say that there's no hope left for these people. goodness me.

I put the wedding clip on full volume, watched once, then just listened with it close to my ear. Maybe she meant "not attracted to me", but I am 99.9% sure she said, "he's not attractive."
