Track Info: The Crookers Remix is the best known and most successful remix of Kid Cudi’s “Day ‘n’ Nite”. Remixed in June 2008—about half a year after the release of the original—the Crookers version went on to become a charts topper, peaking #2 on the single charts in the UK in the first week after its single release.

It was also the success of the Crookers Remix that advanced Cudi’s rise to fame and made him known to a broader audience.

The remix might be even known better than the original, due to being danceable and radio-friendly. Even though the remix captures the melancholic character of the original, it tends to gloss over the sad background of the song and the loneliness depicted in it.

There are two different music videos of the Crookers Remix: The BBGun version and the corner shop version.

The Crookers Remix appears as a bonus track on Cudi’s Man On The Moon: The End Of Day.
