Reminds me of tile and stone jobs. Don't get them wet for 3 full days. No showers, don't even turn the water on. I used to put up caution tape, with a clearly printed sign "Do NOT ENTER/NO MOISTURE until X date and time". What do you think 25% of folks did, even when they had another bathroom? I had to hold off on installing the showerhead, mixer, faucet, etc for 3+ days. It was the only way. Too many people couldn't control themselves.

If it were me....I would make a compilation of all the melted cake pictures available posted prominently so your customers could see them. Pictures are truly worth a thousand words and nake a bigger impact.

I tell my customers everytime..straight in the fridge...you would be surprised at how many times it was not a foregone conclusion..dont take it fir granted that they know...its obvious to us only because we are in the business

Fondant can can get soft and sticky when it's hot it's marshmallow, and buttercream melts. I really hope people aren't out they're leaving their cakes in the car 😂

They are aware fondant is sugar paste, right? It's basically. Marshmallow cream mixed with lots of confectioner's sugar. It melts even while being worked with!! Of course it's going to melt if left in a car! Geez!! I'm not even a pro baker and I know that. Do you think people do that on purpose in an effort to put a baker on blast for a refund???
