remember this event is inspired by bf2142. An old battlefield game most well know for its titan mode. And Dice chose to give us a S&D knockoff

This is what killed Apex legends for non sweaty players. Every season you played until you reached diamond 3 and after this you were matched vs 3 premade squad most of the time some top 100 world players who farm you and laugh how bad you are. And now they decided to change it. EA is trash

I'm having flash backs to when the bomb carrier on Defuse BF4 found the furthest corner of the map and went prone with a thermal sniper until the timer ran out causing a loss... and then grabbed the bomb and did it again.

These sort of "Competitive"gamemodes never work out well unless you implement some form of SBMM/balancing. with only 4-8 players in the game each player's individual skill can play a much bigger role so if you have a strong outlier it can become "easy". especially if you run a full 4 man squad there's practically no competition. when i played with randos they always forgot about the OBJ and stayed back. Played one game with my squad last night and we all left right away we all knew it was gonna be no fun with 4 of It's not a bad mode tbh but as usual 2042 fails to execute properly.

I'm loving this mode. Played it round after round the past couple of days. Once you figure out the sweet spot/routes, it's easy day. I already got the 40 ribbons in 2 days, and I'm pretty average. Always use Mackey to get on the buildings, and use Zain to kill people off the buildings. That's all you need to know.

I agree with you about the teams being garbo nobody would defend the objective the would just sit behind cover while the enemy team caps it

Unless you’re with a squad that you have comms with (friends etc.) we’ve learned time and time again. Look at any 1 life modes, Apex Arena mode, COD S&D, R6S, and so many more. You can’t force randoms to work together which results 90% of the time in scattered random movements with 1-2 kills and die. 2042 is dying slowly and only content creators are keeping it alive tbh.

I’ve posted the screenshot of the scoreboard at the end of the round. Like Enders if I didn’t get the majority of the kills in the round we lost. I had a game where I had 24 kills in an 8 round game. I averaged 3 kills a round for every single round we played. The rest of the 3 players on my team combined for 8 total kills. I had THREE TIMES the kills of my entire team combined. Won 6-2 but still. I shouldn’t have to literally put the team on my back just to have a chance.

I have been killed by so many nonsensical ways my first few matches. Around walls and through multiple walls at a full sprint is my favorite.

I could not even start one round of this mode. We got stuck at the pre round lobby watching our specialists until people started quiting. I do not get why.

I had fun with this Mode but sometimes as mentioned you are a one man Army and it mostly depends on how much IQ your mates have if you win or not. But regardless of that the one thing I find really cool are the random weapon rounds
