The guide I was talking about was the I Spent 24 Hours Building the Best F2P Camellya in Wuthering Waves. Wuthering Waves or Wuwa is a new game so it's normal to be lost and not know how to build characters or resonators. Should I make a video like this for Lumi, Jiyan, Yinlin, Jinhsi and genshu lin? White hair Camellya also have god tier tracking in her spin to the point where she can follow dreamless around.

Clarification tho about what you said "all other multiplier are lower" in the basic attack. Not necessarily, because the way you get to spin in white hair is you do heavy attack, you can see for yourself how high the heavy attack multiplier is. Something like 88%*3 and due to her inherent skill 2, it is regarded as basic attack.

also something of note, white hair forms spin attack also moves and tracks enemies so it works for bosses that move around a lot. So on top of the damage bonus thats a big plus

One thing you should note if you don't need to attack with Crownless to get the buffs. Just cash the echo, dodge to get out of Crownless form, and then plunge attack.

Exactly.
Her blossoming mode is better for groups of enemies.
Her normal mode is better for single enemies.

I am still relearning not to hit Skill every time I can. She plays too different to Encore and Jinhsi. And that is great.

Now I need a Rover that feels right when fighting.

You can also Dash cancel Crownless transformation to get the buff. Crownless doesn't even need to hit.

There is a Gremlin CC that is a master at running numbers. She already confirmed that the white hair mode multiplier is higher you have to already be on the ground for white hair mode to yield higher DPS. So unless you get knocked out of your aerial attack then it’s white hair mode is just more useful in open world mob fights or if you are doing solo dps runs.

Edit. To sum it up. The time it takes for you to get out of aerial mode to do your ground basic attack combo will negate the overall damage increase you would get anyways. Time=DPS gain/loss.

Seems like it's single target damage v.s. aoe damage.

Reminds me of FFXIV's Samurai class when it first came out and how it has AoE moves that do less, but target more, then single-target high damage.

this is also wrong bc the initial skill cast also does dmg and instead of it being a small difference with normal attacks leading its more like a 49% difference with skill leading. Casting the skill has a 200% multiplier and exiting the skill has a 250% multiplier. Smack is wrong.

From my experience it's worth doing when: the boss is staggered, or the attacks are scripted and you know there's a counter coming up, or it's attacks aren't heavy enough to interrupt your combo. In these situations where the boss is basically a training dummy, I'm noticing more damage with the basic mode. But any other situation where you may have to dodge, blossom mode is the way to go!

Higher damage but her BA chain are clunky and take a lot of time to get into spinning position. So in reality it's same DPS

It's good to know that in over-world I don't have to go crazy on insignificant echoes. Just spin to win without changing forms. Using a whole E attack seemed such a waste to me. Also she kills so fast that sometimes I realize there's no one left and I'm just stranded in the air and cannot move freely. Anyway, great tip to save time!

If I've come to the understanding of her kit correctly;

In white hair state her full cast of the spinning attack is comprised only of Basic 4: 24.70% x 20 = 494%

In red hair state her full cast of the spinning attack is comprised of vining waltz 3 AND blazing waltz which totals: 21.95% x 25 = 548.75%.

Which means that the overall damage of the spinning attack in the red hair (vine state) is actually higher as it has more hits. That being said, you also need to account for the total animation time. Of which I've not tested but I'm pretty sure the white hair state takes longer if you do the basic chain and is a bit shorter if you start with heavy . So overall, white hair state does not have more damage just a bit higher raw value per hit. Basically do white hair state for better tracking and red hair state for better AoE and overall dmg if your enemy isn't going to move out of range.

The damage difference per hit is small, but noticeable. It depends on utility though. Suspended spin protects you from some attacks, and has no wind-up like the spin in white-haired mode. You can also spin continuously, while you need to recast the ground heavy, so while the damage is indeed higher as you spin, you also lose some DPS during the time you wind up the attack, further decreasing the difference. Certainly not enough to sacrifice the convenience of air attacks unless in *very* sweaty content where every sinlge % of damage counts, or when fighting highly mobile bosses.
