[FIX] Windows 7 Microsoft Security Essentials OR Stuck Checking Update 0x80240022

ATTENTION! ONLY For Windows 7 of any version.

When using Windows 7 and want to update MSE (Microsoft Security Essentials) but it failed--Like can download, but can't install and return With Error 0x80240022
OR
Checking Windows Update takes forever, and svchost use More RAM the longer the Checking time.

Step 1: Determine if Your Windows 7 32 bit or 64 bit
KB3020369 and KB3172605 Relax I will make it simple Link for you

Step 3: install them respectively in order
Step 4: Restart your PC
At this point Your Windows Update might be recovered already

BUT if it returns with Error Code 8024402F

Step 6: under the Header Article "How do I reset Windows Update components?" Click on first Link that says "This Link"

Step 8: Restart PC

Important Note!
If you cannot install the KB Update on Description Step 2, you must make sure that your Windows 7 is SP1 (Service Pack 1)
To get SP1 Update Package, go to Microsoft.com and search for KB976932 to make your Windows 7 into SP1

Thank you, Step1 and Step2 tips solved the problem. I will add: In older systems neeed to install Windows 6.1 KB4474419-V3-X86 (X64), -Sha 256 control signing for application. Windows 7 32bit SP1.
