Excellent analysis Candace - Another area of how banks generate revenue is through merchant services - with BMO it’s called Monerous - I personally like that business - but not sure how profitable it is…?

I have BMO...was considering moving to TD or RY a year ago, but did not. It has been a poor year but a good quarter.

I could be wrong but I think customer deposits are considered debt on their balance sheet. If so then higher debt probably just means a larger bank.

Glad i got out of this as an individual stock. It is in a bunch of etfs i have anyway. Canadian bank stocks are too volatile lately🙏🍌🍞🙏
