I had the same thing happen to me, I got no heirloom, what I got instead was even weirder.
I got the badges of the unreleased wintertide event, the Respawn dev badge and the ALGS participant badge.

My friend equipped five heirlooms because of that glitch two days ago. He still has them and there has been no instability with his game. Christmas came early for him. He’s just annoyed he didn’t get all the heirlooms before the glitch disappeared.

My friend got this a few days ago, he got every heirloom by equipping every character with it

My friend once got this bug and he could equip all heirlooms . He eventually had to reinstall the game so he lost the heirlooms.

I had this glitch two days ago, i thought it wouldn't work, but i went around and equipped every characters heirloom just in case it worked, now i have all the characters heirloom without doing anything at all, and my game has been working perfectly fine

They've been investigating an issue related to player data on server and client interactions, this is probably a byproduct from that.

I got an heirloom by lucky chance two days ago. It happened when I hit 500 and the game gave me a pack. I didn't even know this glitch existed until a friend told me yesterday.

The same thing happened to me a couple of seasons ago when the servers weren't working really well. I could equip every heirloom in the game, there was even a friend with me and it was fantastic. It's a shame i didn't record it :(

It happened to me too! It give you like the option to equip things that you dont have, even the Dev badge ! Or the winter event badges that are still unrealesed

Apex is changing skins again. The Bangalore Blue Chipped skin is changed (Her neck) and not 100% sure but the wraith cold sweats skin, her chest might be different (It looked different)

This glitch happened to me as well. I only collected caustics and revs but I have crypto, valk, wraith, pathfinders and lobas too. When I saw the ui glitch I went and started hitting equip on everybody's to keep them all and it worked. If they remove them they better not take the ones I actually earned

I had this happen to me with a bang heirloom but i didnt get it in the next match even though i had equipped it. Weird how glitches like this find their way into the game

You can force this bug by going between the lobby and the prelobby menu. You click esc+r, yes, click to enter lobby and keep doing that till your currencies are loading white, and you can go to a legend and select the heirloom.

Exactly the same thing happened for my friend except for Valkyrie and he doesn’t get kicked at all

This happened to me aswell I had a glitch where I couldn’t go to the shop hit equip all the heirlooms

For one I'm actually jealous that my game isn't running perfectly and glitching out like this.
