“And put it where” shows me your friend knows all too well about other plastic surgeries 😂

I actually appreciate my fat cheeks, even though it’s not “sexy” and I get told I look like a baby. But when people get older, they actually want to FILL in their cheeks.

I'm not morally superior nor afraid, I'm just broke

people who have had buccal fat removed do not age well, because the fat on your face helps hold up your skin as it sags when you get older
If you have enough money to keep getting surgeries by all means!

They take the fat, make designer soaps, and sell their own fat back to them at an astronomical price.

I read an article about it not too long ago. It's actually slightly dangerous and isn't recommended. Only certain people would need it and for those who have gotten it, as you age it'll make your face age faster as your cheeks will hollow out faster plus it can't be undone like most plastic surgeries.

The article did say that if you were to suck in your cheeks and pucker your lips, if your cheeks don't dimple in, then you're a good candidate for it.

What freaks me out a little bit about it is the fact that it's done by the inside of your cheek by your molars and it's pulled out that way.

My breast reduction is considered plastic surgery
I had L cups before my reduction. *L CUPS.* I could not deal with it anymore. My surgery was fully covered by insurance- literally my surgeon took pictures of my chest, sent it to my insurance company, and they approved my surgery in *full* two days later. That’s how big and disproportionate my chest was.
Now I’m a B cup (I think. I haven’t worn a bra since my surgery 6 years ago) and I couldn’t be happier about it. I wish I did it sooner and I wish my surgeon went even smaller. I told her to go as small as she possibly could without having to do a nippIe graft (that’s where they have to fully remove your nippIes from your body during surgery 🙃 As opposed to still having them connected by a small anchor of tissue basically. It’s awful, don’t look it up). I was already at risk for having a graft because my chest was so big and I was going down so many sizes but luckily I avoided them. They can cause your body to reject your nippIes and they can literally fall off 💀
*Anyway, * I know this short is just a bit, and I know I didn’t have classic plastic surgery but I say hey, let people do whatever they want with their bodies. If it makes them happy, who cares

That’s… the best analogy I’ve ever heard for this. I never would have even thought of that. I really like this! (I like analogies)

I hope this comedian NEVER gets plastic surgery.
She's already stunning and should age with dignity...unlike the poor actress from The Boys who messed up her face.
I find it tragic that people this pretty would ever feel the need.
Only 1 in 200 people is actually attractive,
1 in 400 if like me you are from a poor/dole town, it tracks with nutrition.

I always tell my daughters how society rips them off, by selling them makeup that blocks their pores, then selling them skin cleanser to unblock the pores they blocked using makeup

There are also valid medical reasons to get certain plastic surgery procedures. For example, some women who have gotten a medically necessary mamectomy/breast reduction (perhaps for breast cancer prevention when there is a high genetic risk) may experience feeling less like a woman without their breasts. While therapy and psychiatry are often valid options for helping them cope with it, sometimes when the option is feasible, they may choose to get a breast augmentation/implant to make the therapy more effective. And TBH, considering what mental health care treatment is like in America (especially for those who are NOT a straight white cis male adult with decent insurance), I'd take the boob job if I had the choice.

She also doesn’t need to change anything. She is beautiful naturally inside and out from what I see

That went a totally different direction 😂 I was thinking makeup is like writing the answers on your hand (you can wash it off) and then plastic surgery is like tattooing it on yourself 😅 but I mean, the other part of the analogy also works 😂

I don’t like plastic surgery…I think we are becoming unhealthily obsessed with changing our appearance. I embrace and accept all my wrinkles and imprefections. EDIT: I'm not talking about plastic surgery that has medical or reconstitutive reasons. I'm talking more about why do we need botox to wipe out all our wrinkles.

Celebs dont just go in and get plastic surgery either. They have massive consultations with the best of the best who tell them the surgery they think would work the best for them at whatever areas they think they need work on. Random people now getting that surgery are not always gonna look good because that area of your face may be what creates shape for you.
Like that weird fox-eye surgery some celebs have had. Some people will just not look good with it at all. Some will look great, but you cant get a surgery cause a celeb has had it and they look great. You dont look and never will look like them and normal people definitely dont have the money or connections to maintain it.

Plastic surgery has the exact opposite effect for me than what they think it will do, just about every time.
