Today, Apple released iOS 15.2.1 to the public just under a month after releasing iOS 15.2. And this one is a minor, bug fix-oriented update but it comes with a major security patch that you'll want to be aware of.

So in this video, we'll discuss what's new in iOS 15.2.1 in terms of changes, bug fixes, performance and battery life. And as usual, at the end, we'll discuss whether or not you should update, along with when to expect iOS 15.3.

I’m glad they’ve updated the private relay!. Whenever I use my 5g when I’m out, the private relay would often switch off. When I would get home, it would automatically turn on an hour or two while using home wifi 🤔.I’m looking forward to updating my phone to the new 15.2.1

I don't know if it is just my iphone but third party apps notifications get delayed, not by a minute or two but by 5-10 minutes, this has been an issue since the time I switched to iphone 13 in october and have been missing out on important notifications, I have made all the necessary changes in the settings from background app refresh to resetting notification settings, etc. but nothing works.

Everytime I update my iphone it gets worse, how come when Apple send these updates out they tend to f**k your phone up 🤨.

iOS is so feature packed already. And I don’t use most of the extra features also. Apple should focus on under the hood improvements, bug fixes and OS and battery optimisation for older devices that still support ios 15.

I’m on iOS 15.2 with the iPhone 13 Pro Max and like the phone a lot. Only thing since the beginning, is that I’ve had weird autofocus amongst other cameras issues when trying to take pictures in specific scenarios like: a mirror selfie, multiple subjects in the frame and the phone like 9 ft away, when there’s people in frame and the sun or indoor lighting are behind, or when trying to capture very far away objects like the moon/sky!

I’ve gone through the settings and enabled and disabled macro control (or auto macro on iOS 15.1.1) as well as lens correction and prioritize faster shooting, the phone still struggles to focus in some (normal) conditions.

It seems to also switch between the standard lens and the ultra-wide even with all macro settings disabled. When trying to take pictures with the 3X lens it uses the main lens zoomed in instead of the telephoto sometimes too (I’ve covered the 3X lens with my finger and the viewfinder still shows the frame)

At times the inability to focus it’s so bad, that I have to point at a different subject to gain focus again, then lock auto focus/AE and point the phone back to what I’m trying to capture or use a third party app in order to avoid these issues, which leads me to believe it’s a software issue and not a hardware one!!! Honestly it’s ridiculous for such an expensive phone haven’t been fixed with iOS 15.2!

Anyone here having these issues as well on the iPhone 13 pro or pro max??? Please like or reply to this comment if so! Much appreciated.
