There are two things I’m excited to see for myself.

1) the chip damage on deadly boomerang. If it’s anything like the demo it’s going to make for some really interesting strategic decisions.

2) are you able to parry heat smashes? If so the animation before it is thrown when in neutral positions basically acts like a giant neon “parry me” sign, (esp when your king vs Hwarang)

I'm new to tekken, (competitive level sf and mk player) and have chosen king as my first character because I played him a lot in Tekken 3 when I was a kid... What is the punch, grab move? The punch kind of Looks like ff2, is it that into a grab command?

Also, the "stone cold stunner" move, the stomach kick into grab, how is that done? I find great use in b2, 4 which has similar properties.

Thanks a ton in advance for any tech help, friends!

Edit: I see someone else commented asking about the punch, for anyone else looking: it is apparently indeed FF, neutral 2, and a counter hit

I love how tekken 8 encourages and rewards more aggressive play style and hope it translates to high level fields as well. So tired of watching boring ass movement focused game play specially on pro scenes.
