How to Make the French 'EN' Nasal Sound - Encore French Lessons

"en" / [ã] is a very common French sound.
It's a nasal vowel. Try repeating those examples out loud and make sure you're not pronouncing the "n" or "m".

As a Hindi, the nasal vowels are easy. We have about ten vowels and each vowel in Hindi can be nasalized: /ə̃ ɪ̃ ʊ̃ ɑ̃ː ĩː ũː ẽː ɛ̃ː õː ɔ̃ː/ (French has it easy with only 3~4, lol).
