Where to find Crappie in the fall?

Like most fish each season the fish will “transition”, or move, to a different area within their habitat. For instance in the fall, Crappie will start moving back towards shallower waters. They can be found in transitional zones between deep and shallow water. During fall the Crappie increase their feeding activity to prepare for winter, making an excellent time for fishing.
