Why Did MotoGP Race At Abandoned F1 Circuit? I visited the F1 circuit that was abandoned, only for MotoGP to visit the Buddh International Circuit years later. Would it be a success for MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3? I found out.

Why teams were not given 5 star hotels is perplexing. The hotel shown in video I would not even visit. In Noida we have Radisson too. There was serious lack of planning and research.

Nice Script….glad you guys loved the circuit. The track guys from Spain, Uk, Singapore and India and some other parts of the world, spent 2.5 months with an average of 3 to 5 hours sleep., worked really hard to make a good and safe circuit. We also look forward to make it a better race next year.

I was there at the MotoGP event and I met Superbike Champion Max Biaggi in the Aprilia stand. I even got his autograph! The atmosphere was very energetic along with the commentators and fans cheering on from the grandstands!

Hi Taylor,
Thank you for posting such a balanced video. I was a flag marshall for the GP and we faced quite a few challenges too but that won't stop me from volunteering again next year😅. Hopefully by next year a new international airport will start functioning which is just 30kms from BIC and also a few hotels are in works near the circuit. There are quite a few very nice hotels at Pari Chowk which is only 18 KMs from the circuit. This GP was chaotic and i'm really sorry that you were not able to experience the real Indian hospitality. Hopefully you'll come to India next time and give us another chance. Thanks to Dorna and everyone responsible for bringing MotoGp to India. Hopefully F1 returns too. Thank you again for being this understanding🙏🏼.

Nice Video. But to be honest, Dorna being the organiser of such a large sport, should've done a bit more research and booked/recommended teams to book hotels in Central Delhi like Taj, The Leela Palace, Hilton, ITC etc. You guys are lucky to have come out alive of Noida.

I always liked the F1 in India and was sad when they stopped going there. Great to see MotoGP making great use of those facilities. Enjoyed watching all four races. Looking forward to many more years of racing there.

My wife and I should be in India right now but sadly she has been ill so we couldn’t go. I have been to India hundreds of times (and eaten out every day never been ill goodness knows what you got hold of at the airport ) in the last 20 years including Delhi Noida and Gurgaon (the Mosaic used to be a good hotel in Noida) many times. We got our visas on line in less than 24 hours BUT until the middle of the year U.K. citizens could not get on line visas as our govt pissed off the Indian govt so they withdrew the on line facilities for a while. Most GOOD Indian hotels are fabulous - try the Taj or Oberoi group. All the major international chains are there and are good. India is a fabulous country and the people are delightful. By the way, the Indian government banned these visa agencies ages ago so I have no idea who your Bobby was working for but they had to be iffy. Next year apply on line well before hand and get 5 years visas - then problem solved for a while.

Thanks for making this video, a real eye opener. Beware the buffet! I've had the galloping shits from buffets in the UK, this is definitely not just an India thing. The racing was excellent, I would love the opportunity to ride that track. Already looking forward to Motogp India 2024.

I am quite surprised that you stayed at hotels where even the locals wouldnt stay in...! Curious to know why you did not choose known brands like Marriott, etc.

It was really an honour to have motogp here in india and we would definitely want you to come back!!
The food and hotels are really great here but you will need someone to guide you which hotel to book and what indian food you should try and from which place, hopefully you will get someone next time! Or maybe i can do it too🙌
I’m really sorry for the inconvenience caused to you by my country.
See you soon Taylor❤️

Really nice of you to give an honest review taylor, being an indian and an automobile enthusiast i was very happy and proud to see such an auspicious event like moto gp happening here on my motherland, i heartily regret all your inconvinience but being a rapidly developing nation, we are reaching new milestones and achievements everyday and we're constantly learning from the same, i ultimately hope welcoming you here the next year as well !

Being a Indian I sincerely apologise for the experience you've had in a week. We know handling an event is not a joke, many things happen at the same time and synergy between them is paramount importance to the success of a task. Due to incompetent staff and lack of sense of complexity the event had a load of hickups. The logistics being the majority of problems coming from. We will be delving deeply into the matter for 2024 seasons and we asure that a better experience can be delivered. I personally thank you for coming to India with your sport and letting us get a breath of high adrenaline for a weekend. Thank you for sharing your side of the story publically and point out specific areas for improvement. We hope to give you the best of what India has to offer in the coming season and hope to help enjoy the weekend to the fullest without worrying where your trimmer disappeared!

My business is immigration law (over twenty-five years doing this for Clients up to publicly listed Companies on both sides of the Atlantic). I can’t say I am surprised that someone didn’t do their job properly but why would Dorna appoint someone who could not handle the job? If you need something done correctly in the future then feel free to get in touch. Aside from that, a fascinating insight into the background to this.

Glad to hear your side of this. I heard so many disgusting things said about India on reddit leading up to the race. To the point of being racist really. I think there's a big American contingency on reddit and they can generally be very anti anything Asian. Glad to see it wasn't all doom and gloom though. And that the visa issue wasn't because of corrupt government or whatever the conspiracy theories were. Track looked brilliant.

Fascinating insight into your experience in India, Taylor, I really enjoyed it, I thought there was some of the most exciting races of the season. Keep up the good work 👍

Great video Taylor, very insightful. I did the first 3 years with the F1 circus and yeah it's a pretty bonkers place. We got away with eating out a fair bit and I thought it was a pretty good event. We just had some good local fixers to sort things out as you definitely need someone local who knows what's going on. Biggest issue for me was the air quality really
