Olympics Cricket to be played in New York and not LA?

We just got news from a CricBuzz article that the LA28 olympic committee is looking to host the cricket olympics all the way in New York. Wow, same problems as before. Will this time be as hectic as the 2024 T20 World Cup? I hope not...

First I thought that cricket will be played in a stadium that is planned to be constructed in Orange County Great Park as a home for Los Angeles Knight Riders, MLC team, by Knight Riders Group, owner of Ali Khan’s team in IPL, CPL, ILT20, and even MLC

i dont think icc and bcci are incharge of this decision, also hosts lose a lot of money in building the venues that they dont have enough funds to keep running after the olympics

Exactly. This will ruin the atmosphere which cricket needed . I mean all Olympic stuff is going on in la . And CRICKET is happening in somewhere else .
