I thought Glory and Gore was about how teenagers act impulsively, a topic she also covered in songs like The Love Club and Buzzcut Season. The first verse of Glory and Gore mentions someone who'd been "drinking like the world was gonna end" and got punched in the face by their friend. But it says a lot about her songwriting that multiples interpretations could be considered valid
