Thanks for your review, I always like to know seasoned collector's points of view. I ordered it, even though I would really prefer the prototype they showed at comi-con years back with rooted hair. It was perfect and was really looking forward to that version, but like you said it takes a long time for Hot Toys to get around releasing non super hero figures so I reluctantly ordered. I'm guessing Hot Toys wanted to ensure no one would give a rooted hair version a haircut and create early custom version of James Cameron's Aliens Ripley before they had a chance to release their version. So what better way to deter that then to give the figure sculpted hair which makes it more difficult. As for the sculpt it's no doubt it's Sigorney Weaver's likeness but from Cameron's Aliens movie not from Ridley Scott's Alien years earlier in which her brow line was much higher and her complexion was more youthful. There's several other photo comparison YouTube videos that illustrated this very well. I guess it's smarter to sculpt and paint one universal head sculpt for both movie versions then to created two unique ones.

got mine in the mail yesterday. only issue i have is the left 'grip' hand doesn't hold the motion tracker very well. it basically just hangs on the fingers instead of actually being gripped.
