Tremendous song choice KDA! I absolutely love this one! Been a favorite of mine for as long as I can remember.

Hank Garland played lead guitar on this one and Scotty Moore played rhythm is my understanding.

I think this was the last real rock n roll song that Elvis recorded and one of my absolute favorites of his...according to my Elvis recording sessions book Hank Garland borrowed someones Fender Jazzmaster that was in the studio that day to get the sound that he wanted.

MTV introduced me to this via Robert Plant and Rockpile's cover during their Concerts for the People of Kampuchea from 1979. It's definitely a fun song to play.

This was Hank Garland on lead, I believe this was one his last recordings as he was involved in a car crash in 1961. Although he survived he suffered brain damage and never played again.
