My closet is the HARDEST for me to get rid of stuff. The main reason is cuz i usually fluctuate weight so i always end up getting rid of my "skinny clothes" saying I'll never be that size again, then i get skinny again, Same with bigger clothes then i gain weight... so it makes it Really hard for me. 😩

I’ve done the same throughout my entire home. It’s freeing and allows creativity. I call it the “ health purge”. Keep at, it betters your life!

Every year on new year's i turn all my hangers backwards (barring a handful of special event clothes and sentimental items). As i wear clothes i put them back facing the right way. End of December i get rid of everything still on a backwards hanger since i didnt wear it in a year

Well Done! Now get rid of the HANGERS you don't want to move with you. Better yet, spend a few bucks at Amazon & get the "Velvet" hangers! Mine are Pastel Pink with Gold Hooks! I also bought Pant/Skirt Hangers as well as the multi-rack ones for my silk scarves. Perfect! I've downsized my Wardrobe considerably bc of a 78lb weight loss & was able to buy all new things! I love my organized & Minimalist Closet & it's even more of a pleasure bc I can see all my silk scarves on the new multi-rack hangers & my jewelry boxes on top of the closet drawers & my shoes all organized, too! So Neat & Pretty & best of all, it brings JOY to me! (Funny how you appreciate everything in life more after being ill for 2+yrs)

Love this!! And yes I just showed my husband the final result of our hallway closet thar I decluttered.. and he said.. that looks great, but the hallway is a mess. And I had to explain the proces 😅
