This Glitch Almost Ruined my Nuzlocke

Im pretty sure shiny pikachu is bdsp's version of missingno/decamark. They've used pikachu and shiny bulbasaur in other games

There's usually a placeholder Pokemon for encounters that the game does not recognize exists (arguably one of the more famous ones being shiny Bulbasaur for X/Y games). In gen 8 and gen 9 Pokemon that the game does not recognize exist use Pikachu as the default placeholder.

What happened was likely the randonizer pulling a Pokemon the game didn't recognize (causing Pikachu) and ended up pulling the previously defeated Pokemon (Wubbufet) as the base.

It's a truly interesting bug that doesn't seem like it would happen outside a BDSP randomizer.

Idk if it works in the remakes, but in the original DS games, you could apparently throw the same poke ball over and over to avoid a ko from wobbuffet. Apparently, the opposing trainer would always give to ball back to you. How nice

Shiny pikachu is a placeholder for missingno/missing sprite. You basically got a wobbafett without a generated sprite.

That "wobbufet" or "shiny pikachu" is actually the modern model for Missingno

If i remember correctly in your randomizer nuzlocke, when you fight the wobuffet it use destiny bond which if the user died the opponent's pokemon died too but your gabite didn't die so im still confused since.

Wobbofet is easily one of the scariest mons that you can run into in a nuzlocke (top 3 for me)
