Absolutely spot-on mate, when Klopp had a run even half this bad in his penultimate season, every article and program was talking about his "7th season curse" and speculating about his job security. Any other manager, a couple of bad results in a row and their position is questioned. Meanwhile Pep gets just 1 win and 9 losses from his last 12 games, and most of the talk is about *when*—not *if*—he's gonna turn it around. Pundits still talking about him and City like they're title favourites when they're about to get leapfrogged by Bournemouth.

What do you expect exactly? City just came back from winning the league and a treble the season before, the motivation is gone, I don't even think it's Guardiola necessarily but all the injuries and also being on top for so many years, they were bound to have an off season...every club has at least one, you know that better than anyone.

Spot on Mark. Guardiola has been praised when he's done incredibly well (albeit with the many of the best players around), now he needs to be called out for doing horrendously bad with many of the same players he's had for the past 2-3 or more years. Injuries can play a part, but to say it's all down to that is a cheap excuse.
