I can't use chemical exfoliation because of my sensitive skin. It has always burned and made my dermatitis flare. I use physical exfoliation gently and with exactly what you are suggesting. Micro fine texture.

I love and only use physical exfoliants. I've been using them since I was a teen and have never had any problems. I started believing everyone saying to only use chemical and even ones marketed as being gentle irritated my skin and make it red for days. Plus I never got that instant incredibly smooth feel with chemical exfoliation. I've learned to stick with what's best for me.

And the pressure you use!
Use a baby wash cloth with your cleanser. Use a gentle pressure. There, done. You’ve just physically exfoliated 😊 And at Dollar General those little washcloths are 6/$1 (that’s 6 washcloths in one pack)

Okay I’d like to see a video of what exfoliates to use vs not and what can I use at home that won’t hurt the skin barrier like sugar or walnut shells or coffee rinds, salt or something of that sort with facts and details that support it

When I stopped exfoliating my face my skin became so much better. I wasn’t even using anything harsh. I wash my face morning and night using a baby face cloth, that’s the exfoliator. When I saw the dermatologist after a year he asked what did I do . I told him I don’t exfoliate anymore with product and he said and you shouldn’t. There’s no need to exfoliate if you use a face cloth. All these years I was creating skin problems for myself. Also, I was with cetaphil or Cera ve . Game changer

I 100% need physical exfoliation. I have so much skin that builds up if I don’t do SOMETHING. Even a good rub with my finger tips will do but I like my little silicone pad.

I use Daily Microfoliant from dermatologica. Expensive but both effective and mild. Both chemical and physical peel. Love it.

what do you recommend if after cleansing the skin has tiny lines on the cheeks and is dry :S Ive tried so many cleansers and it always happens now and I hate it

Please check the product to make sure that the beads are not plastic. This plastic will end up in lakes and streams and be consumed by fish and other wildlife.

I use a moisturizing sugar scrub on my face daily and it has improved my skin so much. It works better than just a straight moisturizer, or straight oil to moisturize and even out my skin texture.

Do you have any recommendations for items that do both? The clear Loreal glycolic acid one is currently my favorite and you introduced it to me. I’ve been using it as part of my skin cycling routine and I particularly love the impact it’s had on my nose.
