I had this KORG Mono/Poly on my workbench for servicing and i decided to play and record some cool sounds. This synth has such a unique and fat sound! The SSM-2044 filter and SSM-2033 oscillators gives it a character of its own. The KORG Mono/Poly is really a pleasure to play!

I haven't seen that oscillators make much difference in sound, but filters sure do, and the 2044 is my favorite. So silky. It's probably not generally as good for bass sounds (Minimoog's ladder filter is better) but for everything else I prefer the 2044.
