I prefer the original Claawdeen she definitely catches more my attention and her outfit is very cool and fashionable while g3 Claawdeen doesn’t have a edge it looks cute which I don’t like The outfit is very simple and I could see it in any doll but that’s my opinion

I can't wait for these! Honestly I love them better than the original. These could even pass as an all new doll like and not Monster High. Just because of how different and cute they are. I love the little finer details on these. Clawdeen is definitely my favorite from this line.

Fantastic review! I really appreciate how thorough you were. I wasn’t really sold on Clawdeen before watching this, but i liked how you pointed out a lot of differences (and articulation upgrades) between the generations. I stopped collecting playline MH dolls around 2014 because I didn’t like the decline in quality and the eventual reboot, but you’ve convinced me that these deluxe ghouls are worth a try. Thanx 4 that!

I think of these as a completely different line from the original MH. I got the MH reboot dolls with their family members because I liked the family concept- but not displayed with the original MH dolls. I had to have all those little siblings because I have always collected those. That is probably what I'll do with these. Keep them in a separate universe. I would love to see them compared to the variety of Barbie bodies. And I want mansters! I still like the old bodies because they looked more stylized and monster-like to me. I wasn't looking for human proportions or variety in my monsters.

Honestly, at first glance I thought that a fake MH doll was in the box...
On a closer look, she still kinda has that vibe. It's probably hair plus the face paint. The "cutesy" one. "Cuteness", one of the prime reasons I was disenchanted about G2. That and budgeting, less joints, cheaper looking costumes, etc. I just don't like this "cuteness". I preferred them more "gothic" yet still nice, more stylish, more elaborate, more thought-through. Because that was unique. The majority of doll brands whose main target audience is teenage/early teenage girls wants to be cutesy.
On a yet closer look, the details I saw so far of her are kinda generic. Og MH made sure characters had their own symbols imbedded in the costumes. There is an animalistic pattern in her clothes, but it looks like something any girl could wear, not "Clawdeen would wear that" which may be relatable, but it harms characterization.

Nice and i noticed the added weird changes like example in the leak pics clawdeen has a different print on her picture and on her doll its different

I can’t wait to get these MonsterHigh dolls. We have been without MonsterHigh for far too long! The quality looks good and they are fully articulated so I’m willing to give the movie and Nickelodeon show a fair chance. I’m excited for the movie actually disbite the discrepancy between it and the og movies and web episodes. I really want to have some ghouls before the movie come out

Way to open your favorite in the line. Buy it again if you fear MIP junk. Believe me, who wants MIPs of my collecting when idiot rich collectors corner the market in dolls and action figures to determine value. Yes! We all didn't live 1977-1983 in Star Wars. So punish the rest of us Star Wars collectors! 🤔😑

Super disappointed that they changed the face paint. Really hoping it looked more like on the Coffee bean box. The hair looks messy. Hopefully the U.S release will have different hair material.
