We currently run a 3-5-3... Only dangers are outside runs being your stacking the box. If teams decide to run outside on your 3-5-3 formation, I suggest moving the outside linebackers/DE's 3 steps towards the sidelines. Next season I'm moving to the 4-3-4. 4 down linemen to clog the inside runs and 3 linebackers to contain the outside as well as 2 DBs/Safety's on each side of the field. Good luck bud

I'm a youth football coach in the state of Texas I coach for 35 years. You could have stayed in the six two look. Actually all you needed to do was switch your two defensive ends to your linebackers. / Defensive backs So now you would have four linebackers / defensive backs on the field and you could steal bring six or five depending on the formation. I read some of your comments a while back and it kind of blew my mind that you were in a 6-2 meaning if they spread out and you were trying to run a cloud coverage flats are open almost immediately, but you didn't have to go to a stack you give away too much and youth football because of the fits in the adjustments that they have to make in space simple as best when you're talking about youth football again. Assignment alignment simple 44. With a fixture problems most of the teams are going to more of a spread look. So I still got six in the box with the 44 and depending on motion or strong side formation I can still bring five and play coverage behind it 62 would be more of a goal line defense Football is being played more East and West and North and South. But a good play caller would spread you out and run inside zone all day long against a three five three stack in the league that I've been in for a while now, scouting is huge. Everybody's filming tendencies the whole nine so yeah, there will be a little adjustment when you go into a another league but quickly something I could give to you and this is free number. Recognition is the key to plan defense in you football. Where are they? Money players lined up in the formation basically tells you work then trying to get accomplished. When I say money players I mean their key guys where they lined up at 44 gives you the freedom to adjust and bring pressure while taking away their money. Players/ key guys

Do you have quicker guys that can possibly play the wide tackle vs true bigs? The quicker guys may not be as strong but have great ball get off and can stunt b gap/ game with ends.
