Tokyo's Official Nintendo Store - A Treasure Trove of Merch! (4K)

The Nintendo store in Tokyo was the first of 3 stores across Japan to open in November 2022. Since then other stores have opened in Osaka and Kyoto. The store in Tokyo is within Shibuya located in the Parco store on the 6th floor. It is open 10am-9pm daily. This video is an exploration of the store featuring lots of the merchandise on offer.

I had a blast when i went to Japan for the first time, i bought some keychains and amiibos that are hard to find in USA. Cant wait to go back.

I am the hero of the family - my gamer son is going on an educational tour of Japan for teachers, and the coordinator asked them for their “wish list” of places to visit within the itinerary. I, a non-gaming mom, remembered I’d seen this & said “don’t forget to add the Tokyo Nintendo store!” TBH, I think it’s a very appropriate stop for a bit of modern Japanese culture & a peek into the globalization of Japanese pop culture, esp on the eve of the US decline & centers of power moving to east Asia. Much more fun way to approach the coming fall of US international cultural hegemony lol…
