thats wild the op1 Kalihs have been the lightest clicks i have ever used, granted i switched mine with the lighter kalihs. Using opticals after good mechanicals is such a bad feeling. But yea higher polling mice dont work on fortnite, its mostly for valorant and cs and seige where there is raw input buffer

Sounds like a really good buy recommendation, I've been using a original Sensei for the last 10 years and just trying some mice at the local Hardware Store I was so confused, that the want me to lift my finger 10 meters of the mouse to scroll through my weapons. I ain't got time for that stuff in CS🤦‍♂

I have a theory on the 4K hitching. I ran a polling rate test on ViperV3Pro, and the polling goes up the faster the mouse moves, is only 4K for super fast swipes, I imagine it's an energy saving feature, and reduces CPU stutter. The Op1 is wired w/ no energy saving, so I think it's 4K constantly causing constant stutters at all times?

i think i ran mine with at least 4k without any issues in fortnite without any issues. my main gripe with the mouse was the cable and the new wireless versions are just unreasonable heavy. the cable got in my way sometimes when doing really wide flicks in cs2 and got under the mouse and i have a pulsar mouse bungee mounted to my monitor. i tend to like the clicks though, they seem to be the fastest on the market and i had no issues spamming them. after a while it turned out to be also slightly too slim for my hand size. i am on a maya x now and i am more than pleased with it.

I use an op1 but honestly Fortnite wise the side buttons really bother me (I build with them)

Nice thoughts and review man! II will return my Op1 8k, I have big hands and the shape is suprisely good! But the edges where rest my ring finger ( I use relaxed claw grip, so the ring finger rest near the middle finger ) causes so much pain on bones! I put the grip thats come with the mice and didnt work! My aim is so better now ( im competitive cs2 player) and comparable with Gpro wireless and ec1 -c, it so better! But this pain on my ring finger is killing me! I think will return and get a GPX1 ! I

I have noticed that high polling rate has ncteases cpu usage which I think can affect stuff as well as the game itself

What does scroll wheel reset mean? I don't know this terminology, is it something specific to Fortnite? Anyway I have this mouse and the scroll wheel is easily the best of all the mice I own. Surprised the scroll wheel is being criticized, really not sure how you can miss the scroll wheel lol?

My gripe with the mouse is the crappy mouse feet and cable is just okay but not comparable to an aftermarket paracord.

@Hyecross you feel Viper v3 Pro smoother because the MotionSync is on by default in razer mouse, you can try enabling it too in OP1 8k

Op1 8k is the best mouse i have ever used. But i dont use the scrollwheel. I have a tartarus v2 and use the dpad/scrollwheel on that.
