CARRIAGE ON PURCHASE
(calculated as per ratio of purchase)
purchase(DEPT X) given is 32000 - less returns 2000 =30000
purchase(DEPT Y) given is 45000 - less returns 5000 =40000
Then,
Actual purchase = 30000(Dept X) & 40000 (Dept Y)
then ratio will be as 30000:40000
can be cut short by dividing it by 10000
then it'll be
= 3:4
apply this 3:4 ratio into carriage on purchase which is totally '3500'
Then divide this amount in 3:4 ratio to both X&Y dept
Dept X= 3500*3/7 =1500
Dept Y= 3500*4/7 =2000
