When I stumbled across this song in December of 2020, I was in acute withdrawal from just about every drug under the sun. I was getting clean with zero help from doctors or anyone and quitting cold turkey, the only help I had back then was music and it was the first time in years I was actively looking for new music. This song spoke to my soul and its part of the reason why I actually look back on those first couple months of withdrawal (I suffered from PAWS for about 6 months) with almost a nostalgia for it and some may think I am full of it but my playlist with this song on it is a big reason why I made it through and have never looked back!! Thats the gift of great music and this song has never left my playlists ever since!
