I have been present at two wedding ceremonies in which the bride and groom waited until they got to the altar to kiss... Totally unlike any other kiss at the altar... For each, the groom could best be described to be both deeply cherishing and protecting his bride, as embracing her and kissing her. Powerful, beautiful.. and to be present to witness, felt like a rare privilege; this moment felt truly sacred and holy, blessed! ❤

Me son and daughter in law did that, they kept themselves pure until marriage, both of my sons did. Teaching abstinence in this culture is needed. Teaching our kids to wait protects them from so much.

This is beautiful. I can't turn back and make that decision for myself, but I can do my best to train my children up to make better decisions than I did. I have only known one couple that did this same thing, and they are such a godly, blessed couple.

I knew my husband was a keeper when he gave me a list of boundries for us when he asked me to be his girlfriend. Not only did he ask to court me for intention of marriage but also the list of boundries. We had our first kiss at the altar. I had a sexual past years prior but the LORD redeemed it in a special way. No man treated me like that. purity before marriage IS possible ❤
