Big Bend National Park, TX

Hello from Big Bend National Park in Texas!
We spent 4 days in Big Bend and it truly is BIG! It was so big we spent 2 days in a campground on one side and then moved to the other side for another 2 days just to see it all! We were there on 4/1 and it was HOT...just over 100 degrees with no AC in the camper because the campgrounds are all self contained, no hookups!
We had a great time hiking to a hot spring right on the Rio Grande river; taking a row boat across the Rio Grande into Mexico for a Burro ride into town for lunch; and hiking a beautiful ravine to finally walk in the cool stream waters! And, to top that off, I had the rare chance to take a photo of a Great Horned Owl in the wild!

Great tour!!  Got to visit Langtry, Pecos River, Amistad NRA, Del Rio - if your east bound... LOL  If you get around Del Rio, Look me up..

$5 dlls to cross the river? Holy crap that guy is stealing the tourist, so sad that my fellow Mexicans always charged so much to the foreign people.
