Edit to add his career is back on an uphill climb, especially since the kids started new shows and have included him in them. But for many years after ICarly, no one heard about him. Much like Brendan Fraiser Studios runners tried to bury his career. You don't think Dan didn't have connections?

I love Jerry so much. So many people just let Dan do whatever he wanted, or was just afraid to speak out, and Jerry was one of the few who actively defended the kids from Dan. He truly was the big brother of the set.
