Thanks for this video. Timelord aka the clock blocker. Was arguably most athletic and skilled big in his draft class and couldn’t believe he fell to Celtics in the 20’s. He’s who I wanted Celtics to possibly trade up for. Maybe teams knew of knee issues before draft? Has so many intangibles and so much growth potential. Defensively, he anchored our front court as well as Smarf did our back court. I’ll always be a fan of those two for what they gave to Celtics.

As a Celtics fan I know he was a great player I hate that he always get injured I wanted him to be in the Celtics sooo bad cuz if he was healthy he be a great rim protector I really hope one day he’s always healthy and come back to Boston js

He missed his first press conference, then slept in n missed his flight to boston and then when he got here he missed his first practice. Local media outlets started calling him timelord as joke after that n it just happened to turn out he has really good timing on the court

the funniest rob plays were his random blocks of 3 point shots. some guard gets him in a switch, see hes giving them space, so they pull up. robs reaction time and length was good enough that he would just block those somewhat regularly.

As blazers fan I really hope we don’t trade him. Nobody wants to give up too much because of his injury history but man he can play. If we could just lose one more year get a game changing player in the draft it might be worth it just to keep him and not take the second round picks we would prolly get for him

Celts got chip last year and that doesn't leave much room for complaint, but I'm never going to get over losing R Williams and M Smart. My two fav players from that team.

I agree on RW's athleticism & high ceiling but disagree with you on RW's value. He was the main culprit that Celtics lost G5 & 6 to Warriors for giving up rebounds as he was so undisciplined on when to hold his ground & not to go for blocks. He was noticeabily hesitant on when to help in G6 as I'm sure Udoka told him after watching film. He also was a huge liability, on after getting offensive rebounds, as he gave no pressure to defense but trying to throw the ball out when he was 8' inside on a smaller player. He's been in the league for 7+ yrs & NEVER developed post play, nor jump shot even with good mentors like Al & Celtics' player development. He will be picked on during playoffs for sure as he has no offense. So if he doesn't improve other facets of his game, he'll gradually fizzle out of the league.

Price for trade: It was fine as per reason above (I don't see him developing other facets of his game) & also a really disgruntled Brogdon & both prone to injuries.
