The American College of Sports Medicine's "Exercise is Medicine on Campus" initiative is to bring together the community, the campus, and the medical field and promote movement on campus for a healthier community! The University of Iowa is proudly recognized by the ACSM as a Gold Status recipient, which marks our commitment to health promotion, linking health care and physical activity.
