First Arab Seminar on Disarmament and Non-Proliferation | UN Disarmament Chief Nakamitsu

On 13 September 2022, High Representative for Disarmament Affairs Izumi Nakamitsu shared a video message with participants of the First Arab Seminar on Disarmament and Non-Proliferation. The Seminar aimed to bring all the Arab States with a number of international arms control experts to informally discuss this multilateral environment with a focus on taking stock of the outcomes of the Tenth Review Conference and taking deeper look and the issue of the Middle East Weapon of Mass Destruction Free Zone in both the Review Process and the General Assembly's process.
