45 FREE Things To Do In Las Vegas: Strip & Fremont

Vegas ain't as cheap as it once was. Fortunately, there are still many free things to do, both on the Strip and Downtown (Fremont Street).

Free things to do on the Strip include snapping a photo with the "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign, pools, posing on the "Stranger Things" set, scoping out the Fountains of Bellagio, floral conservatories, unique art and sculptures, and scoring a free $20 at Casino Royale among other things.

Free activities on Fremont Street include hunting down cool history, taking a photo with $1 million at Binion's, catching a live music show, looking up at the FSE light show, watching humanity pass you by at some of my favorite people-watching perches, and a lot more!

In this video, I'll cover 45 of the most popular freebies in Vegas. Hopefully, you can find a nugget or two to fill out your itinerary for less.

There is always free entry to any Las Vegas pool if they have gambling at the pool. So, say you are wanting to go to Circa Stadium Swim, if the black jack tables are open, just go to the entry and say you intend to play black jack and they have to let you in due to gaming regulations.

Great list, right to the point. Good advice on just seeing the theming of a lot of casinos for first timers. I never see the Downtown Loop bus mentioned and it's a good one to know about.

Nice collection of options of things to do, I do about a third of them everytime I'm in Las Vegas.
You missed two things that should be on the list, the biggest gold nugget at the Golden Gate and there's another show girl display sign in the Arts District. ALL THE BEST ROCKER ROB 🤘.

Excellent list. I would have added the Pinball Museum since technically it's a free museum to go into. It only costs to play the games.

Hey, i did say technically.

Las Vegas really mastered hotels by making them walking places too.

Too bad the mirage volcano show and treasure island pirate ship battle are a thing of the past :( They were free staples for a long time

THE VERY BEST WAY TO SAVE MONEY IN LAS VAGAS IS TO NOT GO THERE AT ALL EVER.

What a tool, to miss the oldest casino on Fremont. The El Cortez has a free show in the Parlor Bar. Michael Ross Nugent sounds exactly like Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. Every Wednesday the casino has a show. The historical casino is the best.
Sorry you missed it.
