I love my Galaxy Tab S6. Bought it Christmas 2019 and it's been used daily ever since. I bought the 256gb w/ 8gb ram and it's still a beast with everything I throw at it! It's definitely a wise purchase to pick one up now for cheap.

I have and love this tablet but two things I think are important. 1) Hulu and a few other streaming apps don't work on the external screen in Dex mode. 2) This has full S-Pen support. I use it as my main drawing tablet. It works so good.

The tab s8 Ultra is rumored to start out at $1, 100 for only 128GB, and it goes up significantly from there. WAY too expensive for a tablet, making the older S6/S7's a great option. I personally have the S7+ and love it, not interested in upgrading right now at all.

Bought an 8GB/256Gb model back in April 2020, and almost two years later it's still in pristine condition and still works exactly as well as on day one. Literally not a single hiccup or problem in almost two years, and I imagine I can easily go another few years with it. It's easily my favorite device ever. I use it for everything mentioned in this video, including all my school work and writing, and also general web browsing. For when I want to game or do something that requires a proper desktop OS (pretty much only playing around with Blender from time to time, ) I just use Parsec to remote into a gaming laptop that's connected to LAN and hidden away beneath the stairs in the house. Another great use for it is drawing practice, since the included pen is great (if you buy used, make sure it includes the pen!)

So yeah, I highly recommend this tablet. I am tempted to switch to the S8 Ultra when it comes out, simply because of the size, but I honestly have no need to. I'll try to keep this one until the S10 line releases, and hopefully the Ultra model won't be a one-time thing and I'll be able to upgrade to the S10 Ultra then.

EDIT: I was so focused on the tablet being awesome that I forgot the thing that sucks: The keyboard cover. The back never stays on and my tablet slipped out of it so often that I ended up using double-sided tape to secure it permanently. The keyboard itself is also pretty bad, with really mushy keys and a really tight design even though they had a little more room to work with. I am spoiled by a Keychron K3 with clicky blue switches, which is what I use at home, but when I am out and about, the keyboard cover is, while enough to get you around, not very enjoyable to use. All of that wouldn't be so bad if the original price for it wasn't $160 which, given the fact that it won't even stay on without permanently glueing it on there, is just ridiculous. I bought it for $60 on sale, and even that was honestly too much. But it works. It's far from perfect, but it works. However, if you are looking at the S7 line, I've tried out that keyboard cover and it's much better, including keys that feel much better when typing. Still don't buy it for the full price though, because that price is ridiculous.

I literally bought this tablet because of your original review, and it hasn't set a foot wrong since then. Still feels super premium and does everything I want it to do. I'm constantly tinkering with it, to change the UI etc. I really wish there was a better selection of cases out there for it though, that's all that's missing.

Snatched a nice second hand unit for 340€ at the beginning of the pandemic and it’s been the most enjoyable piece of tech I’ve got in a long time. Silent Hill 2 runs great in AetherSX!

I bought my S6 one year ago. I don't normally spend that kind of money on tablets. I was nervous.
now? not a single regret. I've streamed Xbox, Stadia and used it as a second screen for my PS4.
worked flawlessly. it has been one of my favorite electronics purchases and definitely the best
tab I've owned.

I use a Galaxy Tab S4 since 2018 and I really love it, it still runs anything quite well. And still have the mighty headphone jack

Bought an s6 from an unclaimed baggage place for about $180 back in January and is easily one of my favorite pieces of tech lately. Sure I have my computer, tv, and phone, but it's nice to just lay on the couch which a nice sized screen on my lap. It's also the only thing stopping me from buying a new laptop. The fact that it also play emulators pretty well (I mostly use dolphin on it), means I don't need to rely on my old macbook when I visit friends and family since it's on it's last legs and been chugging lately.

Finally some love for the S6. I'm playing modded morrowind and Doom 3 nativelyon it. Streaming from Steam, stadia, ect works great. This tablet is amazing.
I'm a long time audio engineer, it's my only source of income, and i have to say the audio that comes from this tablet I can only describe as absolutely impossible 😆 I still can't believe it sounds so good

I bought a used S5e about a year ago for $150, best tablet I've ever owned. The oled is amazing, speakers fantastic, and runs most everything. Love it

I've got a Tab S7 and I've been disappointed that Samsung stopped using OLED screens on tablets around that size. I wouldn't have minded paying more to have the OLED screen, but I didn't want a bigger tablet, and on the current generation, that was the only way to get them.
