5 things I dislike about my 2023 Kia K5 GT-Line

Here are my 5 biggest dislikes of my 2023 k5. They are all fairly petty because I truly enjoy this car.

With the sunroof crack you have to light press the button going back and it will open the shade all the way then you press the button in to crack the roof

I have the same car in the same sapphire blue and have driven it for only 2 months. I love the car and agree that any dislikes are very minor. The gear shift handle doesn't bother me at all. I think your boy wishes he had a sun visor for his car seat. Thanks for your videos!

KIA would have no problem making twin pipes come through those fake exhaust tips. Why they did NOT do so, IS INSANE.

I love the K5 GT, my only problem is the headlights. When driving at night does anyone else notice the dark shadow mid-vision up. Not sure if there's a way to adjust the headlights to get rid of the dark area. Or even better an aftermarket headlights

You could get that roof dent PDR'ed. That would drive me berserk, looking at that every day.

Like your videos, brother. Got the wife the same car she loves it. I have a Jeep Wrangler, and I love that, but the k5 is so comfortable and fun to drive. I don't mind switching vehicles now

The sunroof, you can manually control the shade. Just don't push all the way.

I purchased the first K5 back in 2020 when they came on sale. (for 21' model year, gt-line awd with red interior, wolf grey.). Put 78k on it no problems i followed the manual for maintenance.

My biggest complaint was the crappy thin paint and the windshield is very prone to rocks. If you buy this car and plan with it long term, get it ceramic coated and put PPF on it.

My minor 'mods' i did to it was swapping the license plate bulbs to LED, reverse lights to LED, and rear turn signals. super easy to replace. Just after you switch turn signals to LED, put a tint over the turn signal on the rear. you WILL blind other drivers with the LED bulb.

I bought my K5 on Halloween. Grey Wolf Red interior. I really enjoy these videos as I need some ideas on what is available.

It’s a decent looking sedan. Seems though, that once you get past the first impression and the suggestive sporty looks the car has much to be desired still.
I’d opt for a better equipped, more powerful, nicer interior alternative with more wow factor and much higher unique factor. But that’s me.

I have a 23 black on black gt line. My biggest complaint would be the lack of wireless android auto/car play, and the trash speakers it comes with.

I've got a 2022, had it for 16 months. Number one gripe for me will always be he fake exhausts. Major Zonk if I've ever seen one. Even the Hyundai Sonata has a single actual exhaust tip that's tasteful.

All the GT review videos out there have people driving like they are on a race track and flooring it from a dead stop. For normal driving, torque steer and tire burnouts are not a problem. I will say that there were a lot of reasons I got the GT over the GTline but the dual exhaust on the GT was one of the bigger ones. It just looks so much better.
