Shredded Chicken Crock Pot Recipe: Easy and Healthy!

I show you how to make our go-to shredded chicken Crock Pot recipe. It's super easy and healthy! You can easily double or triple this recipe. It's also a nice meal prep option. This chicken saves nicely in the fridge and also freezes well for future uses. Enjoy!

SHREDDED CHICKEN CROCK POT RECIPE:
* Chicken breast (as many as you need)
* Salt
* Pepper
* Onion powder
* Garlic powder
* Chicken broth

Place chicken breasts at the bottom of the Crock Pot and spread them out so they all get coated evenly with the seasonings. Sprinkle a generous amount of salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder over the chicken breasts. Pour some chicken broth into the Crock Pot. Then with a fork, lift up each chicken breast so that the broth gets underneath to prevent them from sticking to the bottom. Then pour more chicken broth into the pot until it just covers the chicken breasts. Set your Crock Pot on low heat for 8 hours.
After 8 hours, take out the chicken breasts and shred each breast with a fork. If not eating right away, place the shredded chicken into a Tupperware container and then pour some of the leftover broth from the pot into the the container just to the top of the chicken. The broth will prevent the chicken from drying out in the fridge and the chicken will absorb most of the broth by the next day making it more flavorful. This chicken saves nicely in the fridge and also freezes well for future uses.
